HISTORY
ProServ, Inc. is an Upper Peninsula owned business established in January 1995. The word ProServ stands for "Professionals Serving Business". It was created to target the business community to find hard working, qualified employees for a variety of services. These services include temporary placement, temporary to hire, direct hire, vacation and maternity relief, contract service, along with other company/labor related services.
Julie Bishop, owner of ProServ, Inc. has a total of 30 years experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry. Harnischfeger Corporation employed her in the Information Technologies department where she acquired an understanding for assembly type manufacturing in the heavy crane industry. She also worked for Mead Corporation both as a Mead employee and as a contractor. She ventured into the staffing business while working at the Mead facility in Escanaba, Michigan. From there she branched out and started contracting personnel to other companies in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. ProServ has gone from a small home office with two employees in 1995 to currently having an office staff of six employees and an average payroll of sixty employees a week.
ProServ has an extensive database of qualified applicants with experience/education ranging from General Labor to Master's Degrees. Our certified staffing professionals strive to place the "right" applicant in the "right" position.
ProServ works with existing agencies in the area with the same goal in mind such as Michigan Works - The Job Force. Our main objective is the client. We will attempt to fill any position they may have no matter how large or small.
